Blankets of Love

There are many children in our community, nation and world who are seriously ill, traumatized or otherwise in need of a sense of security, warmth, and comfort that a blanket of their own can help bring.

The Blankets of Love Crafters' Club is open to anyone who enjoys quilting, sewing, crocheting and knitting. We are also willing to teach anyone with a willingness to learn! We have a desire to use our gifts to lovingly make new blankets and afghans for children ranging in ages from preemie to teenagers.

Blankets of Love began in 2005. To date, we have donated over 900 blankets to service groups such as Project Linus ( and Families United Inc., a local social services agency. Other causes we have supported with our blankets include  HIM (Hogs in Ministry),  tornado relief  in Henryville, IN, Riley Children’s Hospital,  as well as some orphanages in Ukraine and in the Philippines.

We meet every Tuesday of from 10:00 a.m. -- 4:00 p.m.
